2025-10 Centering in Wholeness – Registration

In-person workshop in Berkeley, CA
Susan Harper
October 17 - October 19, 2025
As the world becomes a more chaotic and conflicted place, turning to creative practices can help us find ways to settle and center and grow a greater sense of self and soul. Meaningful practices serve as ways to find wholeness and inner unity. ~ Michael Meade

Love naturally spirals forth from wholeness to meet both wonders and terrible agonies. The wholeness of your heart includes your brokenness, your longings, as well as your heart’s capacity for mending and healing, and for discovering. Wholeness does not mean perfection. It means no part left out.

When life becomes caught in irreconcilable opposites, what is being called for is not simple change, but a genuine transformation. We simmer in creative tension with what is difficult and simultaneously are open to new possibilities. We wail with heart-breaking grief at the devastation and simultaneously heart-fully appreciate the living world.

Centering In Wholeness Resilience Practices

  • Somatic listening to perceive the sensuous intelligence in the body
  • Refine the compass of your deepest heart values to identify and bring forth what you love
  • Somatic Centering – fluid process of finding balance around an invisible axis that is the gravitational connection with the center of the Earth.
  • Nourish in reciprocity
  • Find freedom in orienting to your deep self and ever-changing context
  • Align with the wild and wise living matrix of nature and wholeness

The center is where the opposites meet. The deep self has underlying unity. The core, the essence is rooted in love. Love guides the inner alchemy to metabolize conflicting qualities. Centering in wholeness is a relational process. We nourish a consciousness that has resilience, that can transform the difficult experiences of life.
